DoorDash Delivers Bubba Wallace Multi-Year Sponsorship

Bubba Wallace has a new sponsor: DoorDash.

The fast-food delivery service has signed a multi-year deal with Wallace and Richard Petty Motorsports to become a major sponsor on the No. 43 Chevrolet in the NASCAR Cup Series, he announced on an Aug. 14 appearance on NBC’s Today.

“The DoorDash symbol is synonymous with speed and technology and that’s what Richard Petty Motorsports intends to deliver with our No. 43 DoorDash Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE,” Wallace said.

As part of the deal, DoorDash will serve as RPM’s primary sponsor for seven events, beginning with this weekend’s Go Bowling 235 at the Daytona International Speedway road course.

DoorDash is the second sponsor to sign on with Wallace this week, following Columbia Sportwear’s announcement two days prior. For both companies, it is their first foray into NASCAR.

This season, Wallace has scored four top 10s, including a season-best sixth-place finish at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He currently sits 20th in the Cup point standings.

Wallace will enter the 2020 offseason as a free agent. It is unclear whether DoorDash will follow Wallace if he chooses to leave RPM.

Maybe Go Daddy should sponsor him.

DoorDash is slow and the product is usually damaged at the end.. In other words, a perfect sponsor for Bubba and the 43.
