WIX FILTERS LAP LEADER NOTES FOR THE DIAMOND HILL PLYWOOD 200 NASCAR NATIONWIDE SERIES RACE AT DARLINGTON RACEWAY, MAY 8, 2009, PAGE 1.

· Tony Raines led once for one lap to earn WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race honors in tonight’s Diamond Hill Plywood 200. Raines captured the honor for the first time this season. He is the sixth different driver in 10 races to win WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race honors in the NASCAR Nationwide Series this season.

· This is the first time Raines has led a lap in the NASCAR Nationwide Series since the fall race at Dover (Del.) International Speedway in 2005.

· Raines scored a 21st-place finish in tonight’s race. This is the ninth consecutive race where he has been running at the finish.

· UNOFFICIALLY Raines is 15th in the NASCAR Nationwide Series championship standings.
