KESELOWSKI (on making his 100th start this weekend) – “It is hard to believe that I will be making my 100th start this weekend. It’s actually kind of cool that it fell on the race here in Charlotte. Everyone looks forward to this race because it’s a home race and there’s always a lot going on. Now I have something extra to celebrate as well. Most of those 100 races were run with JR Motorsports, and I can’t thank Dale Jr. and Kelley enough for the opportunity they gave me two years ago to get in this No. 88 car. We have continued to run well these last few weeks, and I’d love to be able to get a top-10 finish to be able to get my 50th top-10 in my 100th start. I think we can definitely do that this weekend.”
KESELOWSKI (on his championship hopes) – “We were finally able to have a good race in California last weekend and actually had a shot to win it there a few times. We had a really good points day too, making up 80 points on the leader. There is no doubt we are still in the hunt for the Nationwide Series championship. We just need to keep performing at this level and let the chips fall where they may. All we have control over is how well we as a team perform and if we can keep doing that at this same level, we have as good a shot as any at the championship.”
