Like someone said in another post somewhere, It's not like Mikey was running up front everyweek or even close to the front. Mikey has 4......count em.....4 wins out of 676 starts. Like I said, It would be a different story if we expected to see him up front all the time but I never have.

As for that Conspiracy Theory, I have heard of stranger things happening LOL.

So consider two possibilities:

1)  After finding white lightnin’ in the 55’s fuel at Daytona, NA$CAR made a secret deal to avoid embarrassing Toyota that required Mikey to blow his qualifying efforts for the next four races in lieu of a suspension.

2)  Bless his heart, Mikey just ain’t that great a driver.

Well... I think it's more than likely #2
Lets face facts.  Mikey sucked LAST year when he had a car he was FAMILIAR with,.. and still was missing fields.
Now he has a NEW car,.. trying to run a 3-car team,... etc... so no doubt he is missing the fields by ACCIDENT (literally one week)
If Mikey was 'that great a driver' he would have won more than 4 races,.. and ONE of then would have come someplace BESIDES a restrictor plate track where about ANYONE can win if they avoid 'the big one'
