I'm watching the Busch race and it sounds like Mr.Ganassi needs to step in but then again he is probably afraid to.

Brad Parrott asked Montoya, The next time you pit just let the #66 go ahead of you so we don't damage our Fenders because the last time they pitted they got pretty close so that does make sense but NOT to Montoya.

Montoya came back on the radio and I quote, "Hell NO" but he said it a few times.

I heard the same Atitude from Montoya at Texas and if I were Ganassi I would sit Montoya out a race or Two until he learns to listen to the Crew Chief.

If Chip whats to win championships, perhaps he should listen to J.P. I don't know, but it seems asking a champion to "let" another driver get ANYwhere first, is against the spirit of winning.

I also heard D.J. say he thought J.P. was correct in saying "Hell No"!
And, that the CREW needed to EARN J.P.'s respect.

But, you might be right, Flame.

Or I could be wrong. I think Brad Parrott was looking down the road and thinking it's better to lose ONE position in the pits rather than tearing the fenders off the car and costing them the race but who knows. Even though I DO like Stephen Wallace I would tell my driver NOT to race him in the pits because Wallace will do whatever it takes to get in the front even if that means tearing his car up lol.

I had lap 75.    Wink
Before he'd go in the pool.

On the plus side though, at this rate, Stephen might actually finish a few races by 2010.   Wink Grin

And Stephen "didn't want to point any fingers" (at his spotter who didn't warn him)   Undecided Lips Sealed
Hmmmmm
MAYbe, the spotter thought there was more talent behind the steering wheel.  Roll Eyes
Ya reckon?   Wink

Besides, I bet it's hard to spot when his spotter has his hands covering his face, not wanting to wittness the carnage. I think Stephen needs a spotter who constantly yells,
W A T C H   O U T!!!!   W A T C H   O U T!!!!!

He also told Parrot to find another driver if thats what he wanted him to do, I think JPM needs to learn his place in NASCAR.

He is a ROOKIE here, he may be a bigshot in open wheel, but as far as in Nascar he still runs with the Yellow stripe on his rear...

Just to clarify, I'm not a fan so I am probably being harsh, but c'est la vie.

I have a feeling JPM will be the next driver with a Tony Stewart Attitude lol.

If JPM told Ganassi he was leaving because of Parrott then Ganassi would say, SEEYA Brad.

IMO Ganassi is a guy with a Bunch of money but when it comes to Nascar he has no clue but it's a totally different story when it comes to his Prize- Possesion, Open Wheel.

His wife said she loves how everyone in Nascar treats them because in F-1 it's a whole different ball game. She said after the race you go your way and everyone else goes there own way but in Nascar it's like a family. I hate to tell he but if JPM keeps it up they will be all alone again.

LOL.  We really DO need a Little Stevie Wallace pool.

But he had two wrecks.  He wrecked JJ Yeley, and then later, he was wrecked out (not entirely clear to me whose fault that was).  How would we decide who wins the pool?

Ganassi does need to get Parrott and JPM in the same room and tell Mr. Formula 1, "He's Tarzan.  You're Jane."

DW has told the tale many times of how when he decided he could call a race better than his crew chief, Junior Johnson called him in and asked him if he wanted to sit behind the wheel or up on the war wagon.

I'd say JPM was definately out of line (especially THIS weekend)
of ANY place you race... Darlington is some place you race the TRACK, and not your competitors.
You don't block, try to 'force' a move, etc like anywhere else.  You'll end up crashed and on the hauler.
Parrett KNOWS that... JPM doesn't.
With the attitude he has,.. I figure he'll learn that lesson in the 500 miles tonight.

When he's interviewed, he seems to act somewhat humble.

Then you see the real attitude over the radio, which he apparently forgets everyone can hear.

He deserves what he gets.

What he deserves is to spend a few years in the busch series learning like all drivers do.

He has no place in the cup until he learns the cars, just because he can drive a open wheel car.

Hell, I can drive the crap outta a 4-wheeler, lookout Cup here I come. LMAO Grin Grin
