Kinda makes switchin' from Ford to Chevy look mild by comparison.
Ya reckon.

According to racing-reference.info....
JT Hayes raced in ONE Winston Cup race (Rockingham, 1990) ran only 10 laps of 492 and was flagged. Total WC earnings of 2,700.00.
Says in the article, the dudette wants to run a Truck race in June. Perhaps it will be Milwaukee and I can get pics and do an interview.

Where do I begin?
I guess I could begin with, I do NOT agree with what he is doing. When you have Surgery to change Gender and you decide to start dating you should have enough respect to let that person know about it. Maybe one of those Redneck Bubbas made fun of him in the past and he decided to come back as a female, take them out on a date, sleep with them, and then blackmail them or at least thats what it sounds like.
I'm sure he doesn't like Sterotypes but it's ok for him to consider some people in Nascar Redneck Bubbas.
He knows how embarassing this was for him so why talk about dating High-Ranking Nascar Exec's, Like I said Blackmail. Kinda like, You get me a Sponsor and a ride or I will tell everyone what happened between us.
IMO it's NOT fair for him to lie to people about his gender, go on a date, then turn around and tell everyone he dated all these different people.
Now for my opinion on changing gender. It's NOT right. If God intended for me to be Female then I would have been Female. This Guy can have 500 surgeries but it will NEVER change the fact that he is and will always be a MALE and the ONLY difference is he had his removed.
I think I will stop with that because I was taught if I don't have nothing good to say then don't say anything at all but I just had to reply to this. Maybe after I think about it some more I will make another post lol.

This world has turned upside down. Think back 20 years. The gay rights movement was really gathering steam. They would have these marches where they would scream, "We're Here, We're Queer and We're in your face!" They would call anyone a bigot who didn't agree with them. Sure enough, acceptance grew because who wants to be known as a bigot?
If you have a deviant lifestyle that your parents disagree with, why, those evil, non accepting parents just don't understand you. Poor you. Why don't you go on tv and say how life is so hard. Oh, you already do that. Sorry. I have a clue for you folks. Life is hard for all of us. When you take the added bonus of doing something that you know is wrong to the mix, it gets harder. Who would have thought? It doesn't matter how many people you get to agree with you that some ill is not ill, it's still ill.
As for this guy, he put his family through hell, he is causing his boyfriend (who probably wasn't a homosexual before) to become one and is now trying to become a poster child for his "movement" in addition to bad mouthing the NASCAR culture.
They make movies about the plight of these poor wounded souls, saying how difficult their life is, but they bring it on themselves. They even nominate them for academy awards. They are constantly making it more alluring to the easily led. They call it an alternate lifestyle and try to throw a happy face on the package. My pity isn't for how hard their life is. It is because they have allowed themselves to fall into something so corrupting.
It's too late for poor guy. He bought the ticket. No amount of love or reasoning could get through to him. It's a sad story all the way around. I wish there was an up side, but I didn't read a single one in the story.

I personally know two people who have had the surgery. One went from female to male and is the most opinionated, nasty, mean know-it-all that ever walked the earth - he was that way when he was a she too. The thing is his life has been a living hell physically, because without the hormones he spreads into a she. He is on disability and really can't afford to keep up his lifestyle.
The other one was my classical guitar teacher; a very talented wonderful man, quiet, married with children. I lost track of him other than seeing his name in the college schedule to teach guitar, then one day I noticed that the name was Jane, instead of John and I discovered that he had had surgery to become a woman. She is still the talented, quiet, wonderful person she was before. I don't know how that played out in his personal life, but she is still the best guitarist I know personally.
I feel bad for people who don't feel right in their skin, but I'm not sure sexual reasignment is the way to go. I tend to take people at face value and if you treat me decent, you'll get treated decently by me, and if you're mean to me, I cry - not! Just kidding - I'll not give you the time of day.
But Flame is right, anyone who changes their gender has the responsibility to let people who become important in their lives know. And Smyler is right in saying that this just did not effect Terri herself but a whole slew of people. It's not something to enter into lightly that's for sure.
All I know is that I am all woman and plan to stay that way!!!

I Agree 100% Sugar.
Like I said Jr8girl and I watched a show on this very thing the other night and I was Floored.
The problem I had with the show was the Men wanting to become Female were going to a so called Doctor and getting Silicone Injections directly into their Breasts and I'm NOT talking about Silicone Implaints either. He would insert the Needle into them and Inject Silicone. They were told about the risks but it didn't matter to them.
I thought here they want to become a Female so bad but they didn't care if the Silicone killed them which made absolutly no sense to me. If your dead it doesn't really matter what Gender you are but maybe that was their point, Maybe they hoped the Silicone WOULD kill them so they wouldn't have to commit suicide.

Hey Flame, just wondering....
Is it some sort of Freudian slip that you kept typing "Blackmale" instead of "Blackmail" in your first post?!?!?!?!
(Little emoticon thingys added to denote that the above post was purely typed with my tongue in my cheek and had no other ulterior motives either expressed or implied.)

Gonna play the devils advocate here..
If babies are born without fingers or with their organs outside of the body...why can't they be born with the wrong plumbing?
IMO.......I can't see anyone putting themselves through the emotional and physical torture on a whim. I have seen several people (men and women) on TV who have been or are going through the transformation, and they all say the same thing....they always knew they were in the wrong body, from the time the were very young. They just knew something wasn't right.
VERY young.. meaning they didn't know about sex....or the stressful life ahead of them because they were"girly" or in a girls case, not interested in "girl" stuff or never developed curves and femininity.
I honestly think it's a from of birth defect. I can't imagine how hard life must be for them. They certainly don't like being teased and ostracized. It isn't something they chose. I think Guys have a harder time with it than women(accepting the posibility of a birth defect) because guys have this ego thing about their
parts
and the thought of removing them willingly freaks them out.
Just thank God ya got what you were supposed to get and don't have to live with a problem like that.. How awful to not be comfortable in your own skin. It's ALL the skin you've got!!
But for the grace of God

Good Post Ros.
I guess the problem I have with this is even if you go and change your body it still doesn't YOU the person. Just because a guy feels Feminine doesn't mean he has to have Breasts or a........well......you know lol.
Maybe I can explain it this way lol. Now this is my beliefs and my opinion but I think I can explain what I am talking about if I do it this way so if I offend anyone I Apologize.
If God makes someone a certain way then they should stay that way because he did it for a reason. Sometimes I see a Kid with some type of Sickness or Birth Defect and think, Why in the world would God do that but there IS a reason. Whether it's to help someone else get thru something or to help Science find a cure he had a reason.
When I hear a story like this I can't help but think, God made this person like this for a reason and IMO it's not right to change that.
I don't think this story would be as bad if he had handled it a little different but from what I read he wasn't Honest with many people and I think thats why people have the opinion they have. If someone decides to do this they need to tell people Upfront so someone doesn't get hurt Physically or Emotionally. I have heard of people being killed for not telling their partner they were born a different Gender after they had been dating for awhile.
Of course I do NOT have this problem which is why it's tough to talk about because I have no clue how they feel.

That seems to be the problem. The PERSON isn't who they appear to be on the outside.
If God makes someone a certain way then they should stay that way because he did it for a reason.
I don't think "God"
makes
birth defects or makes us get cancer or get hooked on drugs or get into bad marriages. I think He put all that stuff out here and left us on our own to cope and deal with what life throws at us.
If you believe"God" made us and we are his children, He wouldn't hurt
us
any more than we would hurt
our
children. "He" did what we try to do, teach right from wrong, show our kids the things that will hurt them, give them the tools to make the right decisions, but in the long run we have to let them make their own decisions. (as much as it hurts us to know they will regret it and any parent knows, when our kids hurt, we hurt) AND if we find away to take their hurt away................. wouldn't we do it?
I think He gave us the knowledge to fix things like, a cleft palet or Gastroschisis
( where babies are born with a hole in the abdominal wall that lets the abdominal contents protrude outside the body) or gender misdirection.. and don't forget occasionally babies are born with both sets of plumbing...then what should be done? Who decides if the child was meant to be male or female? Hard questions I know.
If we CAN make a life better IMO we should do it. We only get one shot, I don't think "He" wants us to be unhappy
If you believe...
God made this person like this for a reason ,Whether it's to help someone else get thru something or to help Science find a cure
.
What good is the cure if we don't use it? I'm not trying to change your mind Sweetie, just to get you to look at the other side of it.
I think everyone deserves to be happy.
