I'm glad your uncle is getting better, nb...and I believe the OFFICIAL term in this PC era for "Heart attack" is now "Cardiovascular Accident"...like the heart just tripped and fell down the stairs or something....Wink Cheesy

Amen! My Dad has started having some cardiac symptoms lately...it seems he hit 60 and his body just started going downhill...old injuries acting up, now this, if it's his heart it's likely the result of damage done when a car he was working on fell on him 20 or so years ago (as we have no family history of any heart disease, so it's likely not anything inherited)...and I just remember my Dad as always working, always strong, able to do anything...and in the last 3 years he's even stopped travelling, doing things like visiting me and sightseeing in the area I'm living in, which he and Mom used to love to do, because an old back injury makes it too uncomfortable for him to sit so long.

<SIGH!> I just wish he could do everything he used to. He does, too. But there's unfortunately no magic cure for getting old.Smiley

I know what ya mean…it’s heart breaking to see how things change as we age due to injury, illness or nature. I’ve so been there and watched it all so many times. I know your dad can’t travel like he use to so now you’re his eyes and ears to the world……keep up the awesome job with the play-by-play action packed photos.

I have an old buddy named Ted who lives in England, the place I belong. Who knows if I’ll ever get there but for now good ole Ted is MY eyes and ears. He’s a truck driver and travels everyday, sometimes France, sometimes as far as Germany. I’ve been lucky enough that he allows me to see the world through the lens of his camera phone and for that I’m greatful.

I’ll get back to you with an idea I have for a DVD for your dad complete with pics & music.

Just an update...

I saw the guy that was in this wreck:
http://www.futureprosphotos.com/gallery/1573958

He is doing pretty well...
Been in physical therapy, got one hand all pretty much healed,.. and the other is coming along well.
It was nice to see him up and around.

Also want to send prayers to Charlie Bradberry's Family.  Charlie was killed in a traffic accident Saturday morning.  I posted a thread about him in the "Infield" section

Prayers to and for all who have asked. Sorry for the delay.
I'm nursing busted digits. Painful to type. Pale in comparison.

I used to complain because I had no shoes,.....until
I met a man who had no feet.

Hey Shocky better heal'em quick we need you around here. My wife just lost her aunt to cancer and now one of my aunt's has it. She is in Tenessee and they sent her home and said there wasn't much they could do for her and they put her on moriphine. I guess we just wait now. That is the part that suck's. I lost my DAD in 1987 from Lung Cancer and they were going to send him home the next day,But that day never came and we didn't have to wait. That night He went to a much much better place. You don't know what you've got til it's gone. Sorry for rambling on. My thought's and prayer's go out to each and everyone of you.

No need to say you're sorry for rambling on Flame.
That's why we're here and that's what this thread is all about.

I know your pain. Ain't easy to lose a loved one or friend. Moriphine helps them, but it also signals the end.

My busted fingers don't stop or prevent me from praying.
Thank God.

Let me know if there's ANYthing I can do.
Even if it's to 'listen' to you ramble on.
Rambling can be a good thing.
Call me Nash, 'cause I'm a "rambler" too.
