THANKS Skool, 'Fan' and the rest of you...
I think I reported before that Dad's treatment went well,.. he's been released by his Dr, and his PSA reading was 0.4
Mom seems to be doing well.. but she's about to go stir crazy being in a room by herslef for a week...
They'll test in a few weeks and see if they see any other indications of Cancer
By GF daughter.. well, she's taking chemo and radiation.. I guess the good news is that so far it hasn't made her sick.. still waiting (and hoping for the best there)

Finally,.. since I last wrote I have found out that our square dance caller has cancer.  Name is Rudy.  He has a malignant tumor in one lung, and pneumonia in the other.  They can't do anything until they knock out the pneumonia.. SO hoping for surgey middle of the month.. This one scares me.. it don't sound good at all.
Thanks again for everyones prayers

Last few weeks weve noticed his breathing is getting faster, even while he sleeps, and he some times has trouble with breathing while eating, etc.

Jay and (Our Daughter and Bugs Mom) Erin took him to Ft. Wayne to the Doc today and they found out he has ASD-Atrial Septal Defect.

Now any heart prob is scary, but,.. this is not too bad as they go, and happens in about 1 in 1500 births.

Its seems that its fairly easy to fix and depending on the size of the hole may fix itself.
The doc did say though that the hole was larger than he'd like and that usually means it will have be surgically repaired.

We will know more tommorrow and I'll let you know what we find out and whats going on.

At any rate..please keep our little guy in your thoughts and prayers. Im positive this will all go well and prayer does indeed work we know.

Thanks so much folks.

ASD is something some can live their whole life with, if small enough, and with others it's discovered in childhood, often as the child gets more active, as you are finding with your grandbaby. The great news is if it is big enough to need surgical repair, when that's done in childhood, there are often no side effects...kids heal so fast, and most of the time go on to have a perfectly normal childhood and life. My prayers they quickly choose a plan of care, and get him all fixed up so he can go on with his childhood. Grin

Say a little prayer for Jeff...got himself into an accident Friday night that resulted in multiple facial fractures. He's home, but will be headed back to the MD tomorrow to be scheduled for surgery for later in the week to stabilize things.

Don't know what they can do to help his face, but at least they can keep the bones from moving around. Wink  Tongue

Absolutely. Jeff's posted a pic on Facebook and he's hardly recognizable. We're definately praying for the best. I just hope he did more damage than he got.   Grin Grin

Thank you everyone. Been at the MD all day today. They are trying to get me into surgery on Wed. April 7th but failing that, it will be Friday the 9th.
Several facial fractures, upper jaw, nose, sinusus smashed all to heck etc etc. They say I will have small titainium plates in my upper jaw...cool!  Not enough to set off the metal detectors at the airport tho  Wink

Let this be a lesson....dont drink and drive your bicycle and get your laces caught in the sprocket....(near as I can tell, that is what happened and I face planted into the concrete.

I will keep y'all posted as best I can.  Thank you all for the prayers.
