After seeing first time winners the last two races with Casey Mears at LMS and Martin Truex at Dover, who do you think will be the next first timer in Victory Lane.

I'm leaning towards Clint Bowyer.  He's the only driver in the top 10 without a career Cup win.  Or maybe Montoya on one of the road courses...

I agree with your analysis, but one more potential first timer would be Dave Blaney.  There have been a couple races this year when he was very competitive.  I think he will likely be the first Toyota to win... if he can finish a race without wrecking.

If Bowyer don't win in the next two races.... (Pocono or Michigan)
I wouldn't bet against Montoya at Infineon... thats just two races away.

Doesn't matter who it might be, I like to see a driver get his first win.  The more of an underdog they may be, the better.

I think it's great to see different winners everyweek, whether it be a first timer, or someone who hasn't won for a couple of years (Sadler, Edwards, Martin...)

1. Bowyer
2. Montoya
3. Tony Raines - he's getting on top of his game.  Watch him over the next month or 2

Clint's probably the favorite right now, but Montoya at the road courses will be difficult to beat.

I agree with the consensus that Bowyer is likely the next in line.
However, JPM may not have to wait for a roadie — he's good at intermediates like MIS.
And Toyota's first win? Gotta be Vickers. He's the only one that's even remotely competitive.
