IMO, that would be a mistake.  I would think it takes a special guy to be a teammate with the #20 car. 
Kyle is special, but in a different kind of way.

Him going to DEI is probaby the best thing.  DEI gets a young driver that can win races and do it in dominating style at times, and Kyle gets to be "the man" in the organization as I'd think he's a bigger star than Truex Jr..

Joe Gibbs doesn't need the baggage the shrub will bring Kyle is just like his brother spoiled brats.besides JGR already has Denny Hamlin and JJ Yealy that Tony gets Along with. of coarse if you think about it tony would be able to kick the crap outa kyle everyday till he straightened up
