How about this.
IMO it's Stupid for Nascar to penalize a Cup driver for something he did in the Busch series. Regardless if it's the same series or not, I think it's Stupid.
How's that lol?

At least from when I was out on the series.

I know what you are saying Flamer...
but "technically"... ANYTHING a Nascar driver does as a "representative" of Nascar (race, autograph signing, public appearance, etc)... If he gets out of line, punches someone, etc,.. he COULD be suspended from the next race.
It don't "have" to be an "on track" action to get suspended... just ask Jimmy Spencer....
Or even AT the track.
Lest you be charged with violating Sections 12-4-A (actions detrimental to stock car racing) and 12-4-B.F. (actions detrimental to Brian France's wallet).

Well, we know the number.
But what it stands for... that's one of the slipperiest things to pin down in NASCAR. ;-)
Sometimes a fight is just a fight, but sometimes it's a violation. Sometimes cheating is just cheating, but sometimes its a violation. Sometimes punting another driver is just a dumb move, but sometimes its a violation...
