If there was a way to remove the shopping mall and houses, etc. where Riverside International Raceway used to be ------------ that'd be the track I'd like to see back on line.

But folks, listen to me here. Don't -- I say DO NOT be so willing to give up a place like Pocono. No way!
If anything -- take two races away from Fontana. The most excitement there is on Thursday and Friday when they have freebie days to come out to the track for autographs and static displays.

It's usually hot and miserable in the stands with a wind blowing so you get a wind burn as well as a third degree sunburn. It's a friendly track -- by California standards, and parking is free -- that's the good part.

Fontana is a dump once you get away from the track and it's a drug capitol and hookers (lot lizzards) are abundant. High crime area only a short distance from the meth capitol of the U.S. There's NO comparison to Pocono Mountains.

Until the track was built out of the rubble of a steel plant, the only reason I went there was that's where one of the yards the trucking company I worked for was located. Oh, and the truck wash that the track got rid of on Cherry and Valley Blvd., I went there a lot. But be outta there come sundown.

There used to be a dirty movie and book store on another corner of Cherry and Valley, but I think Brian had that moved somewhere else too.

Maybe the millions the track pumps into the local economy will clean the area up more. But that's the track I'd eliminate. Just about any other track would be a better choice.

While Darlington is still on the circuit, I say dump the 2nd california Race and give us back the Southern 500.

For my track that I'd want to see a race at, you'd need a time warp, because it no longer exists, but that would be the old Langhorne track in Pennsylvania. It was round.  No straightaways, just corners.  The drivers not-so-affectionately called it "puke alley."  I'd love to have seen them race there.  To get it?  Lose the second Michigan...booooooooooring

Get rid of Chicagoland and add The Milwaukee Mile. There is so much history there that it only makes sense for there to be a Cup race there.

I COULD see a track in the N.W.  PROVIDING they forget about about Washington or Oregon.  The weather there is just too terrible (rains 3/4 of the year)...
I think this track in IDAHO could go,.. they WANT one,.. and it's out of the "rain zone"

Now we all know just because King Brian WANTS it in Washington Thats where he's gonna keep pushing to put it and tell those people how much they want it,.. no matter how loudly they have already spoken they DON'T.

I like the idea of Idaho...Utah would work as well or eastern Colorado.
