What's really going on under Dale Jr's Hood?

Well IMO something just smell's a little Fishy and I know alot of you may not agree with me but I still think something is up.

Dale Jr has had 5 DNF's because of Blown Engines but Truex has only had 2 and Menard 1. I don't know if each team at DEI has their own Engine Builder but that would be the ONLY explanation I can think of.

I've seen other teams have Engine trouble but the only difference is the WHOLE team has problems, Not just ONE team. If I were a car owner and I was having this many bad engines and I knew my driver could make the Chase I would go to someone like HMS or RCR and use their engines until I could find out what was going on with mine.

Maybe DEI should let the guys who built the engines at GINN start building DEI engines for them lol.

I guess we will have to wait until 2008 to see if DEI is still having Engine trouble.

Yeah , but I think Ginn was leasing their Engines from HMS !  Could be wrong ?  But your right Flammer something rather odd about the amount of troubles Jr. has had with engine failures ! He was really flying last night until the Pop !    I was really impressed with his Post Race Speech , quite professional !!!

I'm not against Jr or Teresa.  Yeah it does sound a little fishy but for all you Teresa haters read the article on Nascar.com when JR says leave her alone.  If I can find it I'll put a link up.

Blown engines are often caused by the driver themselves.  Too much clutch while keeping your foot in the gas can put a lot of stress on an engine.  I'm not saying Jr. is or isn't doing that, but it would help explain some of it.

Jack'o Roush was having the same problem a few years back as well as Hendrick.  There always seemed to be one driver who's motors held up... when the rest of the team blew up.... probably coincidence... the teams WANT to win.... every last one of them.  After all it's still all about the $$$$$$$$$$$

Now if Jr wins 5 out of the last 10 races with no problems in any of them then lets talk

One of the blown engines Jr said that it was because of over-reving and one (the race he took his little bow to the crowd and ended up driving the #5) he spun out and probably ran the engine backward.

When he gave a post race interview he mentioned the new gas as a problem for their engine dept.  Unleaded was introduced a long time ago and I would have thought they would have it figured out by now.


I think the engine partnership with RCR is in place now and none of the RCR cars seem to have engine problems.

Well I never said Teresa herself was doing anything or that she is even part of what COULD be because IF it is happening on Purpose then it could be a number of people.

It may be nothing but it just seems a little strange how it happens to Dale Jr most of the time.

Even Dale Jr said, "They seems to blow up when they plug them into my car".
