Well former World F1 Champion / Indy 500 Champion & Cart World Champion Jacques Villeneuve has found out just how competitive North American Style Stock Car Racing really is. After starting an impressivce 7th in time trials , Jacques ran into some poor decisions and luck to end up 21st ! Almost a Top 20 in his 1st adventure in the lower level Nascar Series ! Well he finished the race , not bad for a ROOKIE...lol Actually not bad at all...must have been that Famous #27 on the Door , his Fathers Gille Villeneuve number back when he ran Open-wheel and Snowmobile Professionally ! Which Jacque's utilized when he became famous in his own right , during his days  in Open-Wheeled Racing ! Well lets just say that both he and Buddy Lazier have their collective hands full ! Buddy ended up 24th 3-laps down ! Again not bad considering they held off Jack Sprague , Todd Bodine  both very  respected and competitive driver's during this Event in their learning Curves ! lol .  Wink

They both got a considerable amount of track time, and that's what they needed.  Lazier did have to start in the back of the pack after his team made unapproved changes to the truck.
