I can't remember the last ime I heard a driver ask his Crew Chief, Would I be better off finishing in Second.

Now I can see if it's early in the race and a CC will say you don't need to be racing this hard this early but when it's 5 to go and your racing for the lead I would think you would go for it.

Who knows maybe Roush owed HMS a little favor or something.

thats what I got from it too SJG  BUT I really wish Matt would of took him out just to make the chase more interesting it looks like a 2 car race to the championship right now and I dislike Both Jimmy And Jeff But would rather see Jeff Win If it's those 2

Yeah...I was really rooting to Matt to win...

I don't know how interesting it would have made the Chase if Matt wrecked Jimmie, unless Jeff somehow got caught up in the wreck too

Well it just seemed a little odd to me. Even A.Petree and R.Wallace both said, What's he talking about.

I've just never seen a driver in his position say something like that. Most drivers in that position would have drove the wheels off the car.

Or ya know it could be that I just Dislike J.Johnson so much I'm mad that he won again but I would rather see J.Johnson win the Chase over J.Gordon. So many mixed emotions lmao.

I never really "heard" them say who said that... they just played the audio...
I got the impression Johnson said it....
That kinda made sense.  He is leading the chase,.. so why take a chance of crashing and finishing 30th or so...
Finishing second wouldn't be a win.,... but it's not about winning the battle,... it's about winning the war.

If Kenseth ask,.. I can see why the thread,... Kenseth has had EVERYTHING go wrong since the chase started,.. so why NOT go for the win,.. even if he wrecks.

Jimmy Tried to push Matt Up The Track And Matt Got Hella Loose Matt Figured 2nd was better then wrecking them both out although I disagree

I watched the end of the race again today just to make sure it was Kenseth and I can say 100% for sure that it was Kenseth who ask, Would 2nd be better.

Thats the other thing that surprised me was Kenseth ASKED. I can see explaining that to the crew but to ask them if he would be better of finishing 2nd is mind boggling. I'm sure the crew said, What did he just say then they said, Hell no you wouldn't be better off lmao.
