I was a fan of Hornish before he even starting talking about coming to Nascar. Hornish is a Very smart race car driver and he has been since his days in the Toyota Atlantic Championship Series and IMO as long as he keeps that up he will learn a Cup car pretty quick.

I'll admit, At first I was a little shocked when he couldn't make a race but if you look at the problems at Penske it does kinda make sense. Even though Kurt Busch has a couple of wins this season the team isn't looking like the OLD Penske South that it once was. I don't see Team Penske missing anymore races.

With that being said, I look for next season to be a Great season not only for Hornish but the whole Penske organization or should I say, R.Newman lol.

I hope Hornish runs better in Cup than he has in Busch...I don't remember him finishing a Busch race unscathed, and yesterday was no exception.

I went with Patrick over Villeneuve.  However, with the way Jacques handled the situation at Dega (by moving himself to the back of the field at the start), I really thought, and still believe, that he earned a lot of respect from the other drivers and that he may have better finishes due to those drivers giving him a break here or there.

Where was option 'D' that states "who gives a crap"?  It's a good thing all these open wheel "stars" are coming over to teach these NASCAR drivers how to race.  Villeneuve wrecks Kahne and then says, "well my spotter told me someone was on the inside....I had a lot of fun".  Sweet Jacques.  Everyone is glad you had fun wrecking another driver.  Hornish just rides around in the back all day and it looks like Penske will swap owners points from the 2 car just to get him in a race....thats how it's done.  he tried to qualify for 6 races and didn't get in and the one race he does make, he gets a good solid top 30 finish.  So since he can't make the race on his own, just give him Kurts owner points.  Who says you need to race your way in?  Francitti wrecked everything in sight during the busch race saturday.  These guys are the best in the world!  I can't wait until next year when all these talents are racing together in cup.  Guys in the fab shop ( on every team)  will be getting plenty of over time hours.
