I don't think David Gilliland is that bad...and I expect to see a big improvement next year when Roush-Fenway is building Yate's cars...

Good Points Girly ! I agree !  As FSAmy has stated its more than the Driver ! David has proven himself in less than Stellar Cars !

Wow.  Sorry to burst the bubble here but Gilliland, along with David Stremme, are the two worst drivers (in a full time ride) in the cup series right now.   I've actually talked to Todd Parrott one night at a night club down here and while he was drunk, he told me that Gilliland is scared to drive the car on the edge.  He also said that the 38 car is very similair in terms of performance to that of the Roush cars but the reason it doesn't get good finishes is b/c during the last 50 laps of a race when the real drivers start to race hard to get to the front, Gilliland won't/can't.

Nobody mentions that the two years the 48 won the title, their crew chief was suspended for cheating each year.  I guess we'll know if he doesn't get suspended by mid-season there is no 3-peat on the horizon.

Still funny that nobody mentions that Todd Berrier has just as many cheating penalties, all for more blatantly cheating.  Then again, Harvick is no title threat either...
