The season is officially over. Are you going into withdrawals or are you ready for a break. Are you looking forward to watching the banquet or do you ignore everything NASCAR related until February and the Daytona party? Are you glad the season ended and looking forward to next year so that you can root for your guy again?
For me, I liked watching every lap. I did miss a couple races but I didn't want to. I'm ready to watch what Jr. can do in HMS stuff. I'm curious to see if Gibbs can make a go of it in Toyota's. I want to see if Jeff can win a championship in 08. I have to say that I don't like the chase format, but it's what we got, so it's either deal with it or walk away and I like the racing too much to just walk... for now.

I'm soooo ready for a break. I'll watch bits and pieces of the banquet. Mostly tune in to hear Smoke's speech. But yeah I'm really happy this season is over with. It was a tough frustrating season. I'm looking foard to 08 tho. I think the change to Toyota is a much needed one for the 20 team. Maybe a change in pit crew guys will help too.

On one hand I hated to see the season end... on the other it was getting to be a lot of work with my fantasy game.
Lots of fun though,... and lots of folks made lots of money. One gal even made $500
Me,.. I think I was one of those that donated to the pot... lol.
Anyway,.. lots of fun.
The race season was interesting, and I'm like Smyler,... I don't really care for "The Chase"
IMO the "Season Champion" is supposed to be just that. The driver/team the best over the whole season. Now I'm not a Gordon fan,.. but in my eyes, he should have 6 championships now. Is he anywhere as good as Earnhardt Sr. EASY.
He's won more races when the competition was WAY more competitive. but I get off topic.
I guess the season will kick in again, and there'' be things going on to keep our interest up.

You just don't know how ready for a break I am!!!!!!!!!!!!
I could care less about the banquet (never have cared) and can now focus 100% on bowling and my go kart. (Wait...that would be 200% wouldn't it...hmmmmmmm....oh well, now I have more time to work out the math of it all and not worry about silly deadlines before bowling league!)

I'm torn when it comes to this question. It sucks that there won't be anymore nascar racing for a few months and I'll miss watching it, but at the same time I was getting a little overwhelmed with the chase this year. The past couple years the chase has been really good, but this year it lacked excitement especially when Johnson won 4 in a row. Not that I dislike him, but I think any sport can get boring if one person or team dominates the way that they did JMO. I also feel really bad for Jeff Gordon and his team. I like Jeff and think he deserved this championship, but what can you do? In past years the chase has made things more exciting, but it seems this year since it lacked the excitement all it did was rob a deserving driver of another championship
Also, since I'm a Sadler fan you can all imagine that I am ready for a new season to begin, even though I'm not going to be gettiing my hopes up this year that GEM will turn things around for next year. I can't figure out what is wrong with that team, but hope it only gets better. It's been since 04' since I've been able to be excited for Sadler getting a win. Oh well, I'll keep my head up LOL

Do I believe that?
Hmmmmm,.................................. --------->
Nope!
Now,..... had you said you were a former Miss America WINNER,
there wouldn't be a doubt in my mind.
Even today, so you can't be THAT "former".
That's my opinion.
Tell me I'm wrong,............

I'm pretty happy it's over. After not taking a single week off the entire season, I'm ready for the break.
