No, not my being the best looking guy in the USA, I mean she's right about that boring NA$CAR banquet. It is boring. Next you know, they'll want to move it out of New York City. Move it to a real exciting city like...................................
...... Las Vegas !!

I've been asking New Yorkers about that --- and their general attitude seems to be the sooner the better.
The Big Apple refers to it as the Invasion of the Red-Necks.
I agree, Lost Wages would be a much better city to host the NASCAR awards banquet.
Sin City.
Smoke and mirrors and dog and pony shows galore.
The Brian oughta fit right in real well.
As an added bonus --- or maybe a jackpot --- what happens in Vegas
STAYS in Vegas.
Including your *winnings* ---- quite often.
Just ask Ted Musgrave.

yeah... Can you imaine how
GLAD
the NY'ers will be to get rid of the NASCAR dog n pony show...
They didn't want the track,.. they
SURE
don't want the banquet...
Heck just look how bad the traffic is 24/7 in NYC... Street packed, cars and taxis everywhere. It's a mad house.
Now you go and block off a
MANY
square block area just so these race cars can make a "ceremonial' lap around town... Gotta be a
HUGE
night mare. And it's all downtown in the business district.
They have to say "What a Crock"

They have to say "What a Crock"
They do indeed!
Ever heard anyone say that with a Brooklyn accent?
For the special event held in NYC, alterations were necessary on the race cars that make the laps around town. Windshield wipers and a loud horn.
Actually, the windshield wipers aren't all that necessary,.............it's the HORN they gotta have.
NObody in NYC owns a vehicle without a loud horn.
HeY youse scumbagg, move yer kahr outta da way.
H O N K --- H O N K !!
And that's in bumper-to-bumper traffic --- goin' NOwhere
fast.
Honk Honk Honk Honk Honk Honk Honk Honk Honk !!!!!!!!!
Curse the invasion of the NASCAR Red-Necks!

But I DID see all the CUP cars had a windshield wiper added to them... hhuumm
Guess you have to be prepared in case it rains or shows....
How about that... gotta make a parade lap... got no side windows,.. but we got us a windshield wiper

We all know having it in NYC is all about the money. If it wasn't they'd have it at Bristol or Hotlanta MS, charge the same amount they charge for a race and have DW moderate.
Let the REAL racing fans attend
AND
announce. You HAVE to admit, Ole DW would have been better than some foul mouthed "comedian" For an extra $20.00 per person, they even could have Shoneys cater it, lol
They'd still make a buck or two.
