Back in the days of the old Frontstretch board, there was a section called HOMETOWN FAVORITES . In those days, I was known as WEEPIN WENDY.

I was told by someone on that board that I was boring everyone with my HOMETOWN POSTINGS. So when I joined this board, I promised her that I wouldn't post anything unless it had some kind of NA$CAR connection. So I won't say anything about Brett Hearn just signing a new sponsor, or what I just found out about Tim McCreadie, or anything that might bore anyone on this board like I did the old board.

Quite the opposite, in fact.
I enjoy the Catskills stories and the digression from NASCAR  from time to time and never too often.

Reading about your Catskills adventures is more fun that a reader should be allowed to have. I was addicted back in the day.
Then, it was like I had to go cold turkey.
Y'all's  return has made my Christmas Merry.
Yes it has.

NASCAR is nice and so are the NASCAR fans here.
But this is the OFF season.
And a very good time to unwind a tad in preparation for the upcoming season.
Are we ALL about NASCAR?
Not me.
Actually, I burned out on NASCAR last season,..... BIG time.
Didn't post much here during that time.
Now, I'm easing back into it slowly. Don't wanna overdose.

I'm finding the atmosphere more relaxed and the different subjects we've come up with to be relaxing and a good time to get to know each other a tad better.
I like to write and I like to read writers.

For what it's worth, HUDSON HORNET aka Shakey AfterShock is the product of ALL of the posters I've met along the way --- and combined their different qualities into, ......... well,............ me.

It amazes me that folks even read my rantings --- not that ALL folks do that though. I WELL understand those who don't read.
Writing feels good, so I do it to please me,........, and whomever else along the way.
And it feels even better when I can connect with others.

From the Horse reference, I'd say she was referring to me. Especially since I work at the desk right next to her in the winter when she's not doing her dirt stuff,
She's just a part timer here at the tow shop RF2 used to own. It's really his fault because he hired the two of us in the first place, then turned it into a 24 hour a day operation before he sold it. People drop in here all night long cause there's really nothing to do around here unless you ski which I don't or go to one of the clubs which I never do. I'm a good girl.

I'm just jealous because she knows all the drivers in the Northeast on the DIRT circuit. They used to come in here all the time when the season was on because
we're kinda halfway between a lot of the tracks. They always paid attention to her instead of me except when I wear a real short skirt or something low cut.
I can drive Brett Hearn nuts with my little pink top !!

Anyway, I was just kidding with her about being boring but then again if I remember right she never got many views on her postings because around Frontstretch,
nobody ever knew what she was talking about. This isn't a local kinda site. I think she and NASCAR Mike were the only ones who posted in hometown favorites.

She always read every word of his. Guess that's how she learned so much about racing.
