If you are recieving a virus warning---

update: CA has issued a patch for this issue and will be downloaded the next time you update your anti-virus’ signature file. If you have not already done so, you can force your CA product to update by choosing the “update antivirus” option from your system tray icon.

If you are recieving a virus warning on the Frontstretch today, rest assured that it is NOT a Trojan virus or malware, but a problem with the CA eTrust EZAntiVirus and Zone Alarm update that was downloaded to your computer on 12/31/07.

The alert that this site is distributing a virus, JS/Snz.A, is a false alarm. There is no torjan virus or malware being distributed on the Frotnstretch. The programs are picking up a script used in the javascript library JSQuery, used not only on this site, but on many sites throughout the net. If you’d like more info on JSQuery, you can view a description at AJAX Goals.

You will continue to receive popups until CA fixes their signature file and pushes the update to its users.
