If you missed last night's Trackside, you missed something special. They had Marvin Panch, Pete Hamilton and Buddy Baker on. Great stories about NASCAR, back in the day.

I have been enjoying all these shows and learning alot of history on all these guys...Who is the guy who has been on with Dave Despain? He seems pretty cool, can't think of his name...I also think the show Dale Jr Shifting Gears on ESPN2. Even though I still can't believe Jr is with HMS...But look what he's accomplished so far this year...I can't believe it's gonna be 83 in Daytona tomorrow. We froze our a$$es off last year

Ken Squire is the gentlemen teaming up with Despain this week. He's been covering motorsports since....for a very long time. I've loved listening to him. An amazing journalist!

Thank you...I've really come to like him. I wonder if they will still have Despain's show on...I guess it would be Inside Sprint Cup this year although I don't see it in the line-up for Monday night...I really like Greg Biffle being on there and I love Kenny Schrader.

Despain isn't doing the Inside... It's now called This Week in NASCAR. Steve Byrnes is the emcee. But Waltrip, Shrader and Reutimann showed up this past week. It's sort of the same, and not. It'll be on Mondays at 8PM. This week it was on at 9. *shrug* We'll never go back to the old days of Johhny, Kenny and Mikey goofing off with Allan.
Despain isn't an "everything NASCAR" guy. He's really more "everything fast". His expertise was wasted on Inside. He so wants to talk about bikes, open wheels, dirt tracks...anything with wheels. Steve Byrnes...I can take him or leave him.
