Ok, Jr. fans and haters... here's your shot.

Is Jr. really cold or is he just having a string of bad luck that will fade?  Is Denny Hamlin really hot, or just really good at Pocono?  And can he make the Chase with no more 2.5 mile triangles left on the schedule.

Let me know who you think is hot and not after week 20.

I think you pretty much got it right...
Like one person posted,.. You left off Jeff Burton off the "Hot" list...
Other than that looks like you are spot on...

NASCAR is chomping at the bit to have BOTH Jeff Gordon, and Earnhardt Jr in the "Chase"... (a BIG part of the reason no penality was assessed to Gordon at Chicagoland)... But as Gordon moved up,.. Earnhardt Jr down.

Now that it pretty much narrowed down to only 12 teams that can have a shot at making the chase,... one or both of them MIGHT make it.

Personally I think Hamlin will run well again NEXT week at Indy, as will Gordon, and Stewart.  SO that should keep 8th threw 10th in the top 10.
We'll see as the following weeks progress.

Jr. might be in a little bit of trouble. His performance level has dipped a little bit. Even before the wreck he wasn't running that great at Pocono. Indy and Glen aren't his forte either. He and his team will have to dig deep and get top 10 finishes at these tracks. Still there are 6 races left and anything can happen. Drivers from 3-7 can have couple of bad races and that'll bunch them up. Looks like only one safe right now is Jimmie Johnson. He hasn't had bad luck yet and is able to garner top 10s with ease. Jr. better hope that some of the leaders have some bad luck and that'll bring some more drivers under the 400 point mark.

I agree Chris, Jeff Burton is definetly hot and you can't really argue about putting Johnson on there too.  I try to mix the list up as much as I can, but with those two guys it's always a hard decision to leave one of them off the list to make room for someone else.
