Plano, you're dead on about the handicap tag. Grin  I was just getting over foot surgery so I had a temp handicap tag when we went to Bristol. We were running a bit late Wink so we decided to sell our Busch tickets and drove out to the track, they waved us right in. It happened so fast, we were in before we realized what happened! We ended up parking maybe 300 yards from the entrance. They were pretty organized when the race was over too.
Only bad thing, they send you one of 2 ways. If you're in the wrong lane, you get to take the long way back to Johnsonville.

If I ever get to go back, a few weeks before,I'll break my leg or something.

Hmmm, do you think an ingrown toenail would work?Huh? Wink Grin

Sure, if you can get em to issue you a permit for an ingrown toenail ! Grin

The tag was just one of a dozen things that went perfectly that weekend. I must have cashed in a million karma points  Wink

Hey smyler, once you have seen a race at Bristol in person, you will NEVER like watching it on tv again! As I've said many times before, Bristol is one of two tracks on the circuit that you will see MORE racing if you are there than you do on tv! Wink

Talked to the wife and we have agreed to go to Bristol in the next year, even if we don't get a ticket first.  I've always seen plenty of scalpers outside the tracks at races I've been to, so figure I should not have a problem getting in.

There were people on every corner in Johnsonville selling tickets too.
You'll love it. The only bad part was the steep stairs, it felt like it was straight up!

Just make sure there aren't any local rules about this.  Fort Worth (the city) prohibits the sale of ANY tickets....even at face value...on the property of Texas Motor Speedway.  I've seen them arrest people.

Anyone of my Frontstretch family members here on the board that's wants to go to the Bristol Night race in 2009.....

pm me about tickets! Tickets are NOT a problem

Certain rules DO apply, such as, if you end up not going, YOU DO NOT SELL THE TICKETS FOR MORE THAN YOU PAID FOR THEM, (my connection is very adamant about that, lest I get cut off Shocked) but that is about it!

Cup -- BRISTOL.  Nothing else comes close.

Busch...[er, I mean Nationwide] Only -- Nashville.  Not a bad seat in the place and parking is not bad.
