Geez Skool, I didn't know you guys used that name for yourselves too!

I miss the days of the Iowa blue license plates.  When I took my driving test (here in Nebraska) we used to joke that if you failed 3 times, you got blue plates.  LOL  Grin

I come from the center of the NASCAR universe...New York City  Tongue

Well, technically...just outside the city in Jersey (Jersey City)...I saw a NASCAR fan at Shea Stadium in NYC last night wearing a Jeff Gordon T Shirt...that's seriously the first fan I've seen in any of the five boroughs of New York City since the NASCAR banquet this past December.   Smiley

Actually, I grew up in Nebraska. A true Big Red fan! Thats where my family is from. I grew up in Fairbury, about 75 miles south (and slightly west) of Lincoln. Get out that way every couple years or so.

The WORST are FIBs. (F _ _ Kin Illineasian Bastards!)  learned that one when I lived in wisconsin.

No kiddin'? Fairbury? On 136 and 15? My "short cut" (around the scales) to Oklahoma. 15 south to Wichita, Kansas -- then 81 south to 177 in Oklahoma to
I-35 south. The "scenic" route for sure! Enjoyed every minute off the big slab too.

Visited Lincoln many times -- picked-up at what used to be Cushman -- to be delivered to parts unknown. Parked in their drop lot or spent the night at the Texaco truck stop. I like Lincoln.

Brought the first load of gaming devices (slot machines) to the dog track in Council Bluffs too. Good story to go with that delivery, but that's another thread. (by request only)

And a Badger too?
My oh my.
If I had a buck for every time I've been in Green Bay, I could retire.

And, you're correct about some Chicago drivers. Have you ever been to Boston or the Big Apple?? Even worse.
But I did get to visit "Cheers".
