Now that a downstairs neighbor has moved in, and "Momma cat" has moved her brood elsewhere (I don't know where! Sad), I have to find my feline amusement elsewhere, also:

Oh my Good Lord - I hope the cat is okay!

I always threaten to duct tape my grandkids to the ceiling fan if they don't straighten up.  I think I could strap Emily to it, she's very small at 5 years old.  They think it's funny.

I'm not even looking at the video right now but everytime I just THINK about it I crack up!

That is just TOOOOOOOOO freaking funny!

Kinda reminds me of the time......

I came home a little inebriated one night and as I was talking to my wife in the center of the living room, I picked up Baby (the cat in my avatar) and set her on my shoulders. Well, Baby loves to be up high and she starts eyeing the 4 bladed ceiling fan just above me. (It was not running at the time)

Just as my wife was saying "Don't let the cat jump up there" Baby, of course, leaps from my shoulders onto one of the blades of the fan which, unable to support her weight, promptly proceeds to break off and crash to the floor along with the cat. Shocked

Well of course, this is now somehow all MY fault Roll Eyes in my wife's eyes, now that we have a 3 bladed ceiling fan and she started yelling at me that now the fan would be unbalanced and yada yada yada Tongue

Seeing as how we used the fan regularly and that my wife's main concern seemed to be that it would now be unbalanced, I informed her that, being the resourceful fellow that I am, I could fix THAT, no problem   I then proceeded to reach up and snap the opposite blade off from the one that had already broken Shocked  Presto! fan is now two bladed, but it is balanced! Turn it on! See how it works!!!!!!

She was not amused Undecided

LMAO!! so you have a long HISTORY of being a smart***, eh?  Grin Grin

BTW, I still LOL at that video, and haven't watched it since I posted it....it just seems like something that could so easily happen to a cat....

<eyes her ceiling fan and the cat toys strewn around...>

Then again, with my babies weighing in at 17+ pounds each, I think the fan would lose.... Wink Grin Grin

I spose it WAS my fault cuz I wasnt really that worried about Baby jumping up there. She is about 7yrs old, but she has always been 'petite' cat, never weighing more than 7lbs at her heaviest. I really didn't think the blade would break, but imagine my surprise when as I am reaching up to get her down the durn thing snaps off! I had to jump out of the way because, as much as I love my cat, I really don't want to try and catch a panicking 7lb ball of fur and claws as it is falling to the ground Shocked Wink    I ain't STUPID ya know!

And yes, my smart***edness can be traced back to an early age Wink Cool
