Was anyone else a little bored with the race last night?  I don't watch races to see the crashes, but the All Star race is hyped as a no holds bared, winner take all kind of race.  Usually you see some pretty aggressive moves...but not last night.

The only driver taken out was Sadler in the Showdown, but that wasn't because Allmendinger was being aggressive, he just lost it...

Is this a product of the COT?

First.. IMO I don't think this is a product of the COT
Actually.. I think it was more of a product of teams just testing in the day,.. and then racing at night.
One team would figure it out,.. then another,.. and then still another...
As far as back in the field I think drivers realized they couldn't 'race each other too much or they might get lapped in 25 laps...
Actually there was a LOT of side by side racing, and a lot of passing,.. TV just didn't show much of it.
But if you think of all the cars and where they started,.. then where they finished each segment,.. you see wholesale changes... SO needless to say with a lot of changes they had to be racing and side by side racing.
That seemed to be the 'norm' for each segment.
just didn't seem to be shown on TV...
