If possible in the control panel settings, perhaps make the text hyperlinks in forum posts stand out a little bit more.  As it is now (with the forum's default theme), the links are not automatically underlined and I can't tell if the color is slightly different or not.  By either making them automatically underlined, or by selecting a color that stands out from the normal text, then perhaps all of the members of the board will be able to view the links a bit better.

Is it just me, or are the text hyperlinks on the board sometimes hard to notice?   For example, in the last sentence above, "all of the members of the board" is a link to the member list.  It looks like normal text to me unless I hover over it.

oh yeah.. I would of never had a clue that was a link unless you pointed it out dude....
looks just like normal text...

I know what you talking about... to compensate, I have been trying to say here is a link: and then put the link on the next line,.. at least that way folks know there is a link somewhere around... LOL
Plus I usually just use the http:// link so folks will notice it...
But on some other boards I have noticed the links are underlined or bold or something

One thing it's not SJG is hyperspeed.  LOL

I usually end up going back and adding the UBB underline code as well.

I know what you're saying Chris. There are several ways to do it:

"... then perhaps all of the members of the board will be able to view the links a bit better. (http://www.frontstretch.com/board/index.php?action=mlist)"

OR

"... then perhaps all of the members of the board (CLICK HERE) will be able to view the links a bit better."

But those all really take away from the flow of the poster's message, as well as clutter it up compared to:

"... then perhaps all of the members of the board will be able to view the links a bit better."
OR
"... then perhaps all of the members of the board will be able to view the links a bit better."

BTW, that last example is supposed to have a red text example for the hyperlink.  But I've tried a couple different colors and I can't see a difference.  Are color font's disabled too?
Anyway.... just a suggestion.

Ask and you shall receive.  It looks better without the underlines though.

That's why I mentioned the different color of font as another option.
Sure, it may look better to not read a line under a group of words.  However, who wants to hover their mouse over
each and every word in a post to discover a link?  IMO, an underlined word looks much better than a 167 character URL pasted into the middle of a body of text.  Anyway, it was just a recommendation in the hopes that there was a member-by-member profile or account option setting that would take care of it.

Carry on.  Wink
