On lap 80, Gilliland almost put Montoya in the wall. I'm sure Juan was at fault too. Crazy Colombian.

That may be, but what does that have to do with the wreck on lap 19? I dont dislike either Sadler or Gilliland, so I'm not being biased based on my 'favorite'. All I am saying is that on lap 19, David was not at fault. Just calling it like I seen it (and the replay confirms)

Best I remember it.. they went to interview him ... The announcer said "SO what happened,.. here's the replay"... Then he watched it and he had a fit he got run over...
Thanks for the clarification Chris...I'm sure part of Elliott blaming Gilliland was out of frustration cause he was already done. Of course I'm in no way trying to minimize the fact that he tried put the blame on someone else. Besides, like most on track incidents, he's probably over it and ready to move on the next race.

Gilliland punted Sadler from behind and caused the wreck on lap 19. Intentional or not, that's what happened. I don't have a problem with either driver. Mentioning Gilliland's lap 80 incident with Montoya is a stated fact. Gilliland hit two different guys from behind. We know the results.

Sounds like typical, ordinary racin' deals to me.

Actually the Sadler interview was done during a commercial,.. and then shown on FOX later. .. what I'm saying is it wasn't "live"... I was watching it on my "HotPass"
I gotta say I have been liking my HotPass since I signed up for it...
This week the highlight was the "post wreck stuff."
Harvick, and Jr was two of the guys featured on Hotpass... It was interesting during the red flag listening to all the radio transmission between the crew chief and team members... all the "get ready to work on the car as soon as the yellow comes out". It was the kind of behind the scenes stuff people never get to see on "regular" TV.
Sure maybe a little blip here or there,.. but the whole red flag period you got to see the team get ready, lay out parts, do the planning, etc etc. Very interesting.
Of course after all that drama.. and Harvick was so many laps down... they switched to J Burton since he was still competitive.
Funny though... Jr was 10 laps off the pace, and essentially out of competition,.. hard to understand why the didn't switch to another HMS car that was competitive and running up front.
(SOP is if a car falls out or has problems they switch to a team car that is still competitive)

Obviously we watched the same race. Perhaps my DishNetwork feed is a little delayed and it only appeared Gilliland could have let up.

Funny, I always thought 'punted' happened from behind, not the left rear side!
