"Hey Hoser.... Where's the !@#$!! Bush??"

« on: July 29, 2006, 04:04:43 AM »

To all her friends here on Frontstretch.....

Nascarbabe2u/Kim asked me to pass along the news that her Step-dad George Tullis  passed away this morning at 2:20 AM...  His passing was peaceful with his family gathered arouund him.  She also asked me to pass along a message ...that she will be out of touch for a few days... She said to tell Aftershock she'll be answering the PMs as soon as she can. She loves you all and thaks you for you support in these trying days....as do I!

I leave you with these words from an ancient Persion Poem called "The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam"...
So we will hoist one (or more) In Memory of George Tullis... a braver warrior I have never met!

Beloved friends let us gather
For each other, together care
With raised cups salute and share
In memory of he who isn’t there.

Via con Dios, George Tullis, my brother in the Lord.
We've never met, my loss as well.

Trust that the Lord saves the best, for last --
for those who choose to believe, --

I believe.

Rest knowing that your memory remains, and as long as memory remains,
You have not died, but passed on.

To George's family and those who knew him, I can only imagine the sorrow.
At this point,
words escape me.

Take your time Kim, I understand.
We're here.

Thanx Indy.

No thanks are necessary.. When one lives by the Code of Bushido, one does what is required.... This was a promise I made to George a long time ago...and Yes... I know....

HE STILL HATES THE DAMN YANKEES!

To My DAD.............I miss you!

In My Life-Beatles

There are places I remember
All my life, though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places had their moments
With lovers and friends
I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I've loved them all

But of all these friends and lovers
there is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more

Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more
In my life I love you more

To Everyone: thanks for indulging me and allowing me to vent by posting........I miss him so much!
I think I may have posted this pic once before somewhere else on here but the little guy is my dad George!
