Now THAT would have made today's race more exciting Roll Eyes Cheesy...then we'd have teams driving the last 100 laps without stopping...the tires don't drop off, the only reason many of those teams pitted that last time was for fuel, and that was just because a caution happened to come out...some didn't even pit then....can you imagine?? Roll Eyes

I heartily agree. As NA$CAR has become like F1. With most races won on fuel strategy, or in the pits.
 They should go to like a 50 gal. fuel cell. Then the CC could decide to start on a full fuel load, or a light load. as they can't adjust much on the CoC. This will add a new dimension.
 Then when economic reality, whittles the field down to an F1 starting field of about 22 cars, they'll be ready.

I guess I'm just one of those that likes to see the pit crew come into the win for a team.  The driver wouldn't have the car to beat without the help of his crew on pit road.  I'm not terribly crazy about fuel mileage wins though.
