Whatever happened to just walking up to the other guy after the race and punching him in the face?

Spinning people under caution is punk BS, although the two parties invlolved make this one miildly amusing to me.

Yes, but Jimmy Spencer was the last to do it, and there were plenty of guys willing to chip in and pay the fine.   Grin

no, you're right, it's not okay to wreck someone intentionally, especially under caution

...but I still enjoyed it  Wink

What SHE said!  Wink

About the only thing more ridiculously funny and satisfying that I have seen on a race track, was watching the Sauter brothers taking each other out on purpose a few years ago. I can't remember what race it was but it was funny as hell!

Way back when, and if you could read some of the earliest editions of Voice's, when Jimmy Spencer was still racing, I hated him. Couldn't stand the guy.....until he punched Kurt. After that. Spence has been ok in my book!

Same for JPM. I have a new found respect for him now!  Funny how the actions of 2 different racers that I did not like, cause me now to like them.......actions that were directed at two different racers who are BROTHERS! What does that tell you about the Busch family?!??   (certain possible distant relatives from Canada NOT included!) Wink

I never thought I'd ever support Montoya for anything, but kudos to him for giving Busch what he's been giving the whole NASCAR field all season. Did Busch's contact with Montoya warrant being spun under caution? Absolutely not. But nothing any of Busch's fellow competitors has done this season warranted Kyle driving like a wrecking ball through them. And all Kyle could say was he hoped NASCAR would fix it. What a wuss. It's about time Busch remembered that every other car out there has a front bumper too.

Now if only Kyle could get back into his truck and let Hornaday get his shot...

Those 2 were going at it earlier in the race. In my opinion though Kyle didn't deserve that much of a payback.  JPM took it a little to far.  I don't care who the guy is, spinning a guy out under caution is uncalled for. Just imagine if JPM did that to Jr. My god the fans would go insane. Just because it is Kyle Busch doesn't make it okay or right.

you're right, but I liked it just the same Wink

And I hope Hornaday has the smarts to miss getting taken out with him Smiley

If anyone on the circuit has the right to do what JPM did, it's Jr.

The last time Jr. turned someone on purpose and admitted it was when he spun his own car to bring out a caution he wanted.  He could have gotten away with it, if he hadn't gone and bragged on it.

There are some things in NASCAR it doesn't pay to be honest about.  Lips Sealed
