Well, Indy refutes Bubba's statement:

Quote
"The problem is solely [NASCAR's], and by that I mean it's theirs to figure out," George told The Star. "It's not going to come with anything we do to the track. Figuring it out will only come with getting the car and tire combination right, and that requires actually spending the time and effort to do something about it.

“The track won't change next year, so if they want to come back, they better figure it out because I don't think the fans want to come back and see that. ”

Well it's rather apparent that Nascar did not...again do their Home Work ! The Track is the same as it has been since the Diamond Cutting as BB Stated ! The Car is quite different as to it's Design and Tires vary to an extent every year. So I believe that Nascar requires the Long look in the mirror .. Baby !  Wink

I read on message boards that NASCAR Cup should have" heat races".  Well that's what Indy was and people still complain. Roll Eyes

Congrats to you both..
IMO about the only time we ever see Bubba is when he complains or stirs up something.

As far as INDY... it was what it was.
IMO the track had no fault in what went on.  Like others have points out, it wasn't like GoodYear had their tire test, and then IMS came in and ground the track between then and when the race ran.   THAT is the only way I could lay any blame on the track.
We go race there every year,,,
Every year we see this problem with it taking a long time for the track to rubber in.
Nothing new...
Only difference this year was the first time for the CoT to be there.  That lies squarely in NASCAR's court, and obviously NASCAR figured out they should of tested there.  Leave it to NASCAR to close the barn door after all the horses are out.   Nothing new there either...
