I had the pleasure of attending High School with Tim at Miami Military Academy,in Miami,Fla. We were both from Ohio, and he became my mentor on the Football, and Track teams.I was a freshman, and he a senior, but he taught me the ways of being a good cadet.

He was a great athlete,All County Football and Track.Fast on his feat, fearless in competition...I last saw him in Daytona,at the Busch Clash if my memory serves me right. He remembered me, and we spent a few minutes chatting about the days at MMA.

I still have our yearbook for the school year 1972-73.He is pictured all over, from sports to ROTC, to his leadership as an officer.

He will always be a hero in my book. All the bad press and negativity, I never believed...

SPeaking of which...
Did you see the POSTERS for the The Winston (1987).  This is the group photo that was taken, and used for the poster.... Several posters got printed and got out before anyone noticed when the picture was taken that Tim had whipped out his "johnson" and it is showing in the picture.
I run across one of the rare posters at a flea market several years back and knew what I was looking for, and where to look.
As soon as I saw it was one of the rare posters I snapped it up for the outrageous price of two dollars.

If there is interest I may post the pic,.. and then put up a secret box informing people where to look for the 'surprise'.
Don't wanna ruffle any feathers...

That Tim... he was always a jokester

I have a poster from the 1987 winston all star race but i believe mine does not have tim well you know. But the guy i bought it off at a flea market type thing told me about it i thought maybe he was pulling my leg or something and than i heard about this on some other message board.

I heard that tim and maybe some other driver did that is this true and if so if another driver did that who was the other driver.

My poster has all the drivers who were in the 1987 allstar race.
