Now you're making me think NASCAR had an official sabotage Kyle's sway bar..

Just to make it fair for those other fellers.

Kyle does like a loose race car.

" but as of now his spectacular season is pretty much ruined."

This must be your first Chase, huh? Those that believe in his driving skills aren't worried at all.

Oh BTW..When you leave NASCAR to go back to watching baseball...take your foul attitude with you..and please, PLEASE don't let screen door smack you in the ass on your way out.

Good advice, yatesguy

Kyle Busch isn't the first nor will he be the last guy to dominate the first 26 races and then lose a bunch of points.  Same thing can happen in football. You can be undefeated going into the Superbowl and lose to a team who got some lucky breaks to just make it to the Super Bowl. As long as it is the same for everyone I don't know what the big deal is.

Since I don't like Kyle Busch or the New England Patriots...

While i agree that the Chase is a farce, the theory that Kyle Busch got screwed by it is now no longer the case.  The point leader under the old system...is the point leader under the Chase.  While Kyle would still be second, those that all but handed him the trophy at Richmond were a bit premature.

Here's an e-mail that was shown last night on Wind Tunnel............

"How does a team that has dominated all year have two major failures in a row?

 How?

Nascar sabotages them. Kyle won't be allowed to win the cup because he is not a golden boy like Earnhardt or polished like a Jimmie or a Carl

 Shame on you Nascar"

Just a side note on this one.  I was looking at the "classic" points and found this interesting.  Not only is the points leader also the leader under the old system (the Chase is about 50/50 on that), but the top five, though shuffled a bit, is the same top five under both systems, with only one exception.  Under the old system, Kyle Busch would be in third, and under the Chase, Clint Bowyer is in fifth while Busch isn't in the top five.

I don't like the Chase, and I will note that the spread would be closer (Johnson would have a 113-point lead over the 99 instead of 149 over the 16) under the old system.  But it does serve as a reminder not to count one's chickens... (and I will admit, I had mine counted too-and I like the numbers a LOT better now LOL)
