all the talk about Keselowski, Speed and Clausson running this weekend in the chase and taking out a chase driver like there was for Joe at Richmond or Loudon?  LOL.

I didn't even know they were running in the race this weekend. They in my opinion are not being overhyped like Joey is.

I knew they were running. Like Tonyfan20 said: No overhype.

And with rain in the forecast today don't expect any. Alot of the young guns will be sent home if the field is set by points. And not even practice the cars that these shops have been working on for the past couple of weeks.

Looks like there is a 40% chance of scattered showers tonight for qualifying. I hope the showers stay away. I'd like to see Brad make the field.

Two of the three will not be in any position to take out a chase driver even if they make the field, unless it's as their going a lap down.  Keselowski could have a decent ride, but I have a little more confidence in him being able to stay out of trouble than the other two.

But the hype has no inclination upon what was said about Joe.  It was he shouldn't be in there because he could wreck a chaser.  Well, the rain took care of this situation but the fact is people are hypocrites.  LOL.

But, IMO, the hype has a lot to do with it...that kind of hype and the pressure that goes along with it can lead a driver to take unnecessary chances to try to live up to it all.  Ego is a funny thing on a racetrack.  It can be a boon-every successful driver has to go into every race believing he can win, or he has already lost.  The flip side of that is if a driver starts driving every lap like it's the last, he's going to cause problems...and when everyone hypes a driver like he's the second coming of Richard Petty, it leads to a little ego and a lot of pressure to perform.  Those things combined are a volitile mixture.  Logano doesn't give the impression that he wants to learn like a rookie, he gives the impression that he wants to win, now, at any cost.  The fact is, I'd trust Brad Keselowski racing around my driver long before I'd trust Joey.
