great race today
Rain, wet track,... Alonzo and M Schumacher penalized and had to start mid-pack.
The strategy of changing tires as the track dried out,.. and a HEAVY black cloud hanging over head just looking like it may open up and pour at any moment.
Alonzo made his way through the field was running away and left everyone.  Schumacher struggled never ran better than 6th.
Gonna be a HUGE points day for Renault, and Alonzo,... then with about 30 laps to go it all fell apart.
The track dried out Alonzo put on 'dry' tires... the man putting on the lug on the RR tire failed to secure it properly and Alonzo crashed on the first lap out of the pits.

At the same time as the track dried,.. Schumacher got faster and faster and moved up to second (but still on intermediate rain tires).  Other drivers went to 'drys' and run him down and he was so hard headed he had a couple bumping incidents with them,.. and it looked like it caused a problem with his internal steering components and he fell out of the race just TWO laps from the end.
WOW it was as exciting as any F1 race could be.

ADD to all this Jenson Button FINALLY won his first F1 race in 130+ tries.  Nice going dude....
And one last note,.. we had our first POLISH driver ever in an F1 field,.. and he looked real Good.  He even finished 7th and scored points in his first start ever.  All in all something of interest for everyone.... and kept you on the edge of your seat wondering what would happen next... like a SPORT should.

OH by the way,... you ever notice the National Anthem of England sounds JUST like the song "American" (My country,' tis of thee, sweet land of liberty.....").. hhuummm

The English's anthem is "God Save the Queen", America thought the tune was cute so they used it for "America the Beautiful".

Sadly Kubica was DQ'ed for an underweight car and M. Schumy got the final point.
