Livin' Large... Lovin' Life

WWW
« on: November 08, 2008, 07:25:52 AM »

I thought there used to be a link somewhere we had started about site problems a couple months ago... but since things got straightened out, maybe it got removed..
In any event I was wanting to see how many folks are having the same problem I have.
Whenever I click on the "more" link so it opens up the box for the large variety of smileys to use in the post... all that happens is that it looks like it is starting to download the smileys, then it stops mid stream.  It even still says "downloading" at the bottom of the box.  What happens is all the smileys never get downloaded and the box never opens so you can use the smileys to add to your post.
I have been having the problem for I'd say a couple weeks ..??
I have been watching and I notice NO ONE has been putting smileys in their post so I assume I'm not the only one who is having this problem.
Would love to be able to use them if possible....   If not I'll know to go back to my offline site and copy and paste those here.
Thanx

Looks like it's working.

I do notice a lag on the site though. Maybe just on my end since my son does heavy online gaming. (So much cheaper than a nanny or hiring someone to spend quality time with hiim.  I recommend it!)

hhuumm.. not working here...
When I click on "more" the box does open...
But before it starts showing any of the icons it shows this at the bottom:

downloading picture http://www.frontstretch.com/board/Smileys/default/2114.gif
Wonder if this one icon is causing it to hang up..??

Always seem to stop with this same thing in the bottom...  ?? Nothing ever downloads.
It used to work perfect... don't know why it quit all of a sudden,.. I haven't changed anything on this end...   Undecided
As you can see I can still use the ones that show up from up above

my troubleshooting theory is...just keep hitting buttons until something works

I am using IE also...
I tried the "right click : Refresh" deal... that worked...
Wonder why you have to do that when I never did before....  hhuumm

I just checked and it does that for the page too. If you load it up it will churn and not load completely unless you reload it. Then it loads up just fine.

well I started to post a week or so ago,.. but never did.
I guess I am back to asking "Is It Just Me"..??

I'm back to I get no additional Smileys...
I did the old trick,.. right click on the box hit refresh -  and it worked for a while... then a few weeks ago I noticed when I did it only loaded SOME of the smileys...  many the bottom 1/3 of them

Now today I was going to use some,.. I hit refresh, and the page reloaded, and it gave me a empty box.  Box was there, it refreshed, gave me a white background where all the smileys SHOULD be... only no smileys there...  hhuummm
me thinks  something is still amiss   Huh?   Undecided
