Screaming at the TV as Kyle Busch won 21 times. (I'm no KB fan but he made races interesting and made for some easy Monday morning conversations)

The entire Truck season: WOW! Camping World made out by taking this over from Craftsman. If you're disgusted with Sprint come on over to the dark side and become a fan again watching the trucks.

A three peat champion: It's easy to hate / envy excellence

David Ragan's improvement: I hoe he is the Sprint Cup series driver of the year.

The return of driver personality: Glad NASCAR eased up a little bit here.

Michael Mcdowell walking away from his Texas Qualifying run: Both the wife and I was watching live and both of us said Oh S***!

Prelude to the Dream and seeing the cup drivers on dirt slinging it around!

1st time winners: Matt Crafton, Scott Speed, Brad Keslowski, Joey Logano and Marcus Ambrose

Seeing old Hard Nose Tony Stewart just about cry before and after Homestead.

Seeing our heros (US military) on pitroad and in the winners cricle! NASCAR and the teams really get this one right!

Hearing Cale's name again, if only in comparision to JJ.

Three drivers with 24 wins between them in Cup, even if they aren't my favorites.  To me, excellence is more interesting than the parity so many people talk about.

Chevy winning another manufacturer's championship, after it looked like the new guys might run away with it.

Wild finish at the fall 'Dega race, if not for the controversy.

New cheating scandals:  Magnet-gate (Gibbs), sheet metal-gate (Red Bull), loose bolt-gate (Rousch).

PR guys still saying they are shocked and outraged that someone on their team was caught cheating.

Much hyped open wheel rookies fizzle, while less well known guy who came up in the stock car circuit overcomes all obstacles to win ROTY award.

AMEN!  Between him and Larry Mac, my mute button gets quite a workout for the first third of the year.

Let's see...

Jimmie Johnson winning three straight

Interviewing Casey Mears, truly the nicest guy in the garage

Helping on Kenny Wallace's pit crew at New Hampshire

The Trucks...seems they get better and better to watch each year.

FOX broadcast ended....no more gopher cam...it was cute at first but way overused

The end of it...2008 was a crappy season for Kurt Busch.

Yep.. It's a BLAST... nothing like being up close and personal on a pit crew.....
Imagine going over the wall and having the other cars / trucks whizzing by as you change tires or jack the vehicle...

1.  Kyle Busch's dominance in the 3 top series was truly amazing and the kid just doesn't get rattled
2.  Jimmy Fennig taking another kid driver with great talent and making him into contender (one of the best CC'S of all time)
3.  Joey's first win in Nationwide in his 3rd career start with many more to come
4.  a 3-peat.  Only the 2nd time in the history of cup.  When history of this magnitude is made and one can see it this is big
5.  Carl's dominance on the 1.5-2 mile tracks.  He is the best out there right now on those regardless of the banking
6.  Not as much Mikey on the tv, he is annoying and needs to retire from Cup Grin
7.  The future drivers of this sport.  There are going to be some great ones
8.  Carl's all or nothing run at Kansas to beat JJ and then say he does it on video games and that move works Cheesy
9.  20's Nationwide series championship with 4 different drivers and 3 different CC'S
10.  Michael McDowell walking away from the most horrific crash in Cup in a long time.  Thank you to the safety equipment in place.
