5 Roush teams, 4 HMS (6 if you count SHR), 3 RCR, a couple of JGR teams...throw in a wild card or two...and you've got 16 or 17 teams gunning for 12 spots

I can't wait for the green flag to drop on Sunday

SJG there is 9 teams for Rousch 5 at RFR and 4 at RFR (east)

yeah...I know there's 9 Roush teams
but I only expect the 5 "actual" Roush team to be competative enough to vie for the Chase

I think at least 5, maybe all 6, of the HMS teams will be in the Chase hunt come Richmond

How will SHR fare in 2009?
Tony is without a doubt one of the best "race car drivers" ever and with help from HMS he'll definetly win 3-5 times.  Ryan will be good for a win and challenge for a chase spot but most likely will be 13th-16th in final standings.

How will RPM fare in 2009?
Kahne might slip a win or 2 in somewhere but overall as a team it's gonna be another year chasing the big-3 from far back and lots of days just trying to feel good about a top-20 finish. 

How will EGR fare in 2009?
By the all-star race Truex Jr. will be looking forward to getting an opportunity to drive for someone else in 2010.  Almirola might surprise some people with decent finishes here or there.  Overall this group isn't going to be much of a factor this year or anytime in the foreseeable future.

Who will score their first Sprint Cup win?
David Ragan at Talladega

Who will win the Daytona 500?
Kyle Busch will hold off Tony and Jr.,  but not by much.

Who will win the All-Star race?
Jimmie Johnson     '03, '06...  '09?    Tough to bet against him at Charlotte anyway.

How many Sprint Cup races won't have a full field?
NONE,  Brian France will never let that happen.   He'll pay teams just to show up if it comes down to it.   But no way will a field have less than 43 starters this year.  (Even though it wouldn't be bad to have less on the short tracks like in the early-mid nineties)

Will Joey Logano be able to keep the #20 in the top-35?
Absolutely.  Can anyone see a JGR car outside the top-35 no matter who's driving it?  Even in the Leffler/Hamlin year the 11 still finished 33rd.  Won't be an issue.

Who will be the next driver to make a first time appearance in the chase?

Will Mark Martin be able to contend for the championship?
Most def. he will be there during the season.  But will likely end up settling for a 5th-8th place finish in the chase.  Bet he gets a win at Pocono finally.

Who will be the first driver fired in 2009?
Gotta agree with other posts, Sadler is gone before we get back to Daytona in July.  A.J. can finally get in the 19 where he deserves to be.

Which driver will be the first put on probation in 2009?

Well, ........................... whenever I try to relate the whole story it seems nobody believes me. HaiL! I'm having a hard time believing it myself. Now-a-daze I'm concentrating on where I'm going. It's a bumpy road full of ruts and too many dead-ends, but it feels better without the excess baggage that was dragging me under. I lost a lot that I may never get back but I regained my sanity in the process. An expensive trade off in many ways though.

Now, it appears I have a lot of laps to make up. A few lucky dogs in my favor should get me back on the lead lap.
