A stupid question deserves an appropriate answer....

My wife asked me to go to Wal-Mart  to buy a large bag of Purina for our Labrador Retriever and I was in line to check out......

A woman behind me asked if I had a dog.

On impulse, I told her that no, I was starting The Purina Diet again, although I probably shouldn't because I'd ended up in the hospital last time, but that I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in an intensive care ward with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms.

I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and that the way that it works is to load your pants pockets with Purina nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry & that the food is nutritionally  complete so I was going to
try it again.

I have to mention here that practically everyone in the line by now was enthralled with my story, particularly a tall guy behind her.

Horrified, she asked if I'd been poisoned and was that why I was in the hospital.

I said no.....I'd been sitting in the street licking my balls and a car hit me.

I thought the tall guy was going to have to be carried out the door.

Had too...almost spewed coffee all over my computer here at work when I read the email from a friend.

So how are you doing, Erin?  Was cleaning the other day and found your family picture from last Xmas.  Betcha Taylor has grown again since then.  Glad to see you around a little more often.

Hey Gracia,

I'm doing great.  Life is still crazy busy but everything is really good.  Gearing up to take another class this fall, then I will have my Associate of Arts with a Business Emphasis done!!!

Taylor has grown again...took her to the doctor for her weight to be checked yesterday.  She weighed in at 88.2 pounds and was 4 foot 5 inches tall.  My little girl is growing up.  The doctor said she looked great and that since we have been able to keep her weight in check for the last year, we don't have to go back for another year (instead of every 6 months).  She'll be in 3rd grade this year!  She is so excited for school start on the 23rd.  We find out Wednesday who her teacher is.

It's nice to have the time again to be able and come and visit!

Hope you are doing well.
Hugs,
Erin
