OMG, the season hasn't even started yet, and he's making excuses. He told them he wasn't feeling well today.

Before anyone starts (oops, too late), I was a BIG fan of SR. I just feel Jr rode his coat tails into the big league, and didn't pay his dues moving up through the ranks. Heck, even Sr admited to that.

Then, he joins Hendricks, and drags that team down. Hopefully, Gordon can put last year behind, and go for number Five.

Anyone know where I can get an "Anyone But JR" t-shirt?

It's looking more and more like we're going to start the race on time...finishing it is a different story.

If they started the race at a decent hour (i.e. 1:00 instead of 3:30), they might have gottne it ALL in.  Imagine that, NASCAR. Earlier start times might be good for the sport...

Jr isn't the only driver that makes excuses.

Another reason why Dale Jr. fans hate Kyle Busch.

Kyle is more like Sr. than Jr. will ever be.

Okay, up to now I haven't been in the "anyone but JR" group - maybe I'm not quite there yet now - but to say that Vickers hit HIM as he did during the rain delay interview is just ridiculous. JR had room to back off. The block move was legal.  When is the last time a driver decided to hit someone with his left rear quarterpanel? I'd have cut him slack if he'd manned up and taken the blame (and not also spent time during the same interview complaining about being penalized because his front right was on the line during the pit stop, a clear violation that applies to everyone).  But after this, I'm done with him.

I'm also mad at NASCAR for not parking him for aggressive driving, the same way they did during yesterday's NW race.  Probably to keep JR Nation from getting up and leaving the race...

Over88ted.com is going to have a field day with this.

Jr said Vickers hit him as he blocked him down almost to the grass...then when Jr tried to pull back up behind Vickers, to avoid the penalty of passing below the line, he misjudged and caught Vicker's left rear....he didn't say the last hit was when Vickers hit him, just that during the blocking he hit him....

Well if that's the case, I stand corrected on that - but I don't recall hearing much that sounded like a "my bad" from him during the interview (contrast with David Reutimann's comments after he booted Ryan Newman).  And I still stand on my opinion re his comments about the line penalty.

If what Leffler did deserved a 5 lap penalty then Jr's move deserves at least that. IMO

LiKe I say, "put Jr. in the #5 and Martin in the #88"  "Cause Jr's driving looks like Geoff Bodine."
