They have 5 drivers going to the rear sunday because of failed engines.  Is this a trend for the weekend or was is just one of them deals?  If I were all the teams I will have a very close ear to the engines this weekend.
As for the winner, Mark Martin will take the checkers for the first time in awhile. Wink

Looks like a bad trend.  5 engines changed this weekend (00,18,47,82,83) and 3 engines changed last week (00,55,83)

I just read something on another site by Lea White and they are not happy with some of the things that are going on with thier camp.  Kyle's engine was a seperate issue because JGR builds their own engines but the other cats better be a little nervous.

Yeah Ole Marky Looked quite good in Practice , won last year in the Nationwide Race. He has done well here  winning the Inaugural Race in 1998 .

P.S. Ouch that was quite a hit scrub took in the Nationwide Race .

That was one of the most electrifying races I have seen in awhile.  with all the accidents and then the race at the end it was the bets race year to date in all the series.  Looks like turn 4 is going to be the trouble area and patience will be the virtue today.  Kyle's lick was a tough one but I am thinking Hamlin's was as bad if not worse!!!  This race plays exactly into Mark's hands which is why I picked him to win Friday.  It also helps he has a stout car Grin

Yep I'am with you as far as Talent 20FL ! But until Hendrik supplies Mark with better than Grenade Engines this Yr will Rank up with 2002 for Poor Mark as fas as DNF's...lol. What a terrible start  to the Season for my Driver !  Roll Eyes  Huh?

P.S. Actually Transmission failure caused the Engine to over rev which caused it's  early demise .

Guess the Toyotas were okay this weekend, huh?  Wink

Good job by Logano to bring it in 13th.  Does anyone realize how amazing that is? His first visit there, and he didn't even have the Nationwide race on Saturday to warm up with. I guess the kid really does have talent. And now he has a top-35 spot as well (32). I hope he continues to do decently the next couple of races to lock it in.

The Beak also did a great job to fight to a top five finish, and Vickers came in 8th.  I'm not a fan of his, but I'll give Robby Gordon a shout out for bringing his Toyota in 15th and on the lead lap.  The other Top 20 Toyota was Marcos Ambrose, a lap down at 20.
