After venting my frustrations about Tony Stewart a few weeks back, Tony goes and shows his other side, ---------- and I liked it -- again. Thanx Tony, I needed that.
Yes I did.

How can I, or anyone else for that matter, still be upset with Tony after the road race in New York? Back from sour-puss interviews -- to smiles and bubbly excitement. To break off from an interview in progress to run out and congratulate his fellow competitor, and "real good friend", Kevin Harvick for winning the race, after he passed Tony with around two laps to go, well -- that was priceless.

Then,
Upon returning to finish the inturrupted interview, Tony mentioned what a pleasure and fun it is to race against two guys he can trust will race him claen -- Kevin Harvick and Jamie McMurray. And he was right, they did race him clean.
That's the happiest I've seen Tony, after finishing second, in quite a while. The behavior of a Champion -- IMO.
And I liked it.
Yes I did.

I concur. I was glad to see Smoke relaxed and smiling after a second place finish. I thought he had the win when he passed Harvick but I guess he used up his brakes in doing so. He had the second best car and finished second. It was very nice of him to congratulate Harvick on the well fought win. Saturday's bump and grind in the final lap had me worried and I was hoping that both Smoke and Harvick would look at the big picture and race clean. Thank God they did.

This race pretty much wiped out Busch and Biffles chances of making the chase. Unless Jr., Gordon, Hamlin and Stewart have major problems, it'll be very difficult for Busch and Biffle to make the chase.

i've always gotten the impression while he don't LIKE it, he doesn't mind losing a good, close, clean race like he minds some other things.

Short memories.  Ok, I'm not going to dish on Tony, but it is time that will tell if he has changed.  Tony has always been a class guy... when he is not driving... and sometimes when he is.  I can't say I'll ever be a fan, but I do respect his skills.  I did laugh when I saw him go over to the 29 car.  It's always good to see these guys have fun.
