well deserved and not a surprise win. He was due. he has had some great runs this year and may even be close to the points lead without the bad races but that is neither here nor there. Awesome to see him in VL. I am thinking Richmond may be the next one. I don't think it is going to take as long to get that next win

Congrats to Mark bringing that #5 to winners lane and showing all these young hotshots how it's done with class and not with the bumper. I was not surprised at all by the results. I wasn't able to watch the race. But after Marks performance last year (and he would have won last year if he could have eeeked out a couple of more MPG out of that Sunoco) I knew he had a good chance of competeing for the win.

And of all nights I decided to go to the drag races saturday night lol. For some reason I thought the race was sunday but oh well, IMO that wasn't his last win this season.

Flame you aren't the only one who thought the race was Sunday. I didn't realize till Friday night that the race was Saturday.

LOL...Well I think the only reason I realized it was because I noticed the Nationwide race on Friday night. So I just kinda checked to make sure. As it turned out I was off work Saturday night and working Sunday, so it all worked out.

I cannot believe it only took 10 years as a Mark Martin fan to FINALLY see him win a Cup race, live and in person. It was AWESOME!!!
Hmmm, 10 years not seeing Mark win a Cup race Live...10 years I've been a fan that Mark hasn't won the championship.... HMMMMMM.
