Without a doubt prayers for his family friends and co-workers. I can't recall how many times he had me yelling at the radio during my morning commute or nodding my head in agreement. I got to call into the show several times and discuss different items with David. It just hard when someone is taken so suddenly.

This news really ruined my day. I always enjoyed his work whether I agreed with him or not.

I will definately be praying for the family.

What a shock.  Ruined my day as well. I emailed him alot of question over the past couple of years and he would always email me back. He was just a great guy. Tm's morning Drive is going to be really hard to listen to.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

RIP David

I was listening to him earlier in the day ranting on my XM radio, and not 5 hours later saw on Nascar.com that he had died.... took me a ack that he had.

Didn't like him one bit, never have.  But I am sorry to see him go, he was a good writer and very entertaining to read

the one thing about David was whether or not you agreed and believe me I yelled at the radio several times in disagreement but he was always fair and you knew where he stood.

Yup. Him and I disagreed alot over at thatsracin.com but he was always respectful about it. I still can't believe he is gone. It is going to be tough listening to the Morning Drive for awhile.
