Okay what happened?

My favorite coloum of the week, great Richmond short track race, and you guy expend 1173 words on whether Kyle Busch can back up something he said in a post race news conference on his 24th B-day after sweeping the weekend.

Do any of you remember Alan Kulwicki, Davey Allison and Kyle Petty.

I wish everyone would quit putting the cart before the horse when it comes to Kyle Busch. Give him his do he's the fastest driver in the entire NASCAR top three series right now and it's an amzing thing to watch. Love him or hate you have to respect the speed he has. But that is all that he has.

Then you expend 770 words judging the results of a crew chief change AFTER ONE RACE. Glad I don't work for you guys if one article is the standard of judgement.
Granted it sprialed into a discussion of Casey Mears talent, which most conversations concerning Casey Mears end up there any way. And Kevin Harvicks performance prior to cutting down a tire and collecting the wall was a car that stayed between 8th and 11th depending on time spent of pit road no matter what changes were made. Which by the way, was two different track bar changes (both down 1 round) both right side tires down .5 psi, then right front up .25 psi and last stop before the wreck right rear down another .25psi. ( I have Direct TV and was watch Kevin's hotpass channel, which showed a much different race than the product fox put on.)

In the third segement 1358 words rehashing Phil's column from the day before. Enough said. Anyone and everyone will find some fault with the coverage no matter whose producing the race.

In the last segement, it's like someone threw up a softball and said hit this. Mikey Wallace a better driver than Rusty. Stephen Wallace in the top ten. Leffler and Keso are now VETERAN's. Mike and Kenny Wallace and Dennis Greene are veterans. Mike Skinner and Ron Hornaday are veterans.

You guys are so much better than this. Hopefully we'll have a better article next week after Darlington.

Doug,
Often times, I myself feel the questions are sort of lame and of the 'who the heck' cares variety. Usually that is when the sarcasm in my answers or comments comes out. As a result, I often get edited out!  LOL

However, since I do not make up the questions, I refuse to be held accountable!  LOL  I'm sure Amy or Tom would not mind hearing from persons such as yourself should you have questions that you would like to have addressed, and would infact welcome your questions. We do the initial 'mirror' session on Monday night so any question you would like to have considered should be sent to either Amy or Tom by Monday afternoon at the latest.

you can reach them at amy.henderson@frontstretch.com or tom.bowles@frontstretch.com

Since this is your favorite column (and I'm deeply hurt, btw!  just kidding!) you know the format and types of questions!  Bring em on! We'd love to tackle them. After all, it is you the reader that keeps this all going!

Thanks Skool. Nice to know that loyal readers can have some input. I didn't want to call any one of the writers out because the product as a whole was IMO sub par from what you guys and gals put out. It getting 4 or 6 differening opinions that makes it my favorite coloumn. I'm still a daily reader and forum poster and there is no way one article was going to get me to stop. But if the people don't know (by lack of comments or posts) that the product is inferior how is it going to improve.... I guess I'll have to come up with some thoughtfull questions or views to be discussed.

I'm in SLC this weekend and hoping I'll be back in the hotel for the race and live blog.

Doug I did send your post along to the entire Frontstretch Staff, so Amy and Tom have been emailed your concerns.  I myself wasn't crazy about the questions, but I answer what is asked of me.  And like Jeff said, definitely feel free to send along a question or two so we can discuss them.
