Anyone going to be watching the truck race and using the checkered flag tavern?

Hey Doug Smiley

The Tavern will only be open when it is staffed.  Sorry to disappoint!  Doors will be open tomorrow at 1:30.  I hope you'll be there!  I and John Potts both tend to work Saturdays and I always work Friday nights...so, Sundays for now until other Frontstretch staff can be found to staff the Tavern at other hours.

I only got to see Victory Lane with Todd Bodine holding up the trophy.  Hope it was a good race!

I hope I'll be there too! We'll see what tomorrow brings. As for the Truck race..well the new pit rules screwed over half the field and basically it was a follow the leader race.

New plans for the Tavern.  We'll be leaving it up for use throughout the week.

As far as the truck race, it was definitely a follow the leader race, but there was some good racing on the track.  But as usual at Texas, the truck that got out front and had the clean air was dominant.

I took the chat down to try to see if that was what was causing the super sized font for some users, and I haven't had any feedback.  I wanted to try this early in the week so it wouldn't be an issue.

Alright well if those that are seeing the super sizing can deal with it, then we'll leave the chat up all the time.  If anyone is in there and sees someone abusing the chat room, please send me a pm asap so it can be dealt with.

That's fine with me.  I'm not seeing it supersized, so either way is alright with me.  I do apologize to everyone who turned out for the tavern on Sunday only to find it was late in getting open.
