There is NO rationale acceptable for smashing the Nashville guitar trophy in Victory Lane. Seriously, one of the coolest trophies in all of racing and all Busch can do to express himself is smash it?! Imagine if Jeff Gordon put his foot in a Martinsville grandfather clock or if Matt Kenseth had spiked the Harley J. Earl trophy what the reaction would have been.

Makes me sick to see something like that happen.

My next sentence after Kyle busch destroys guitar was going to be

I've never been more disgusted... I thought I'd wait for a response before adding opinion to the re-cap

Here's the exit question: How does Sam Bass feel seeing the hours of work getting decimated before his eyes?

Kyle will be an absolute moron if he asks for a second guitar for the shop or house.

Who cares what he does with his trophy?

If Gordon or Johnson want to take an axe to one of their clocks, well, that's their problem.  Means nothing to me.

Quote
One onlooker who applauded the theatrics was Sam Bass, the artist who paints Nashville's trophy guitars.

"I'll be honest with you, I was stunned when it happened," Bass said. "But when I went to Victory Lane to take a picture with Kyle, he said there was no disrespect to me, the speedway or the sponsors. He just said he was going to give each one of his guys a piece of the trophy. In the spirit of rock and roll and, as someone who appreciates rock and roll, he put on a show."

Bass was fine with it.

And Kyle plans on ordering two more.

I'm relieved to hear that Sam Bass is all good with it.

It's funny becaue fox has a story where Kyle Busch claims that's he's mis-understood all the time.

I guess it all depends on what view you take. But I was horrified and disgusted that he would do something like that to a trophy (regardless of his intention).

Nothing this  Self Absorbed Moron does would surprise me. Did anyone see his reaction to the Fox crew filming his arrival at the track in his Helocopter. He game the camera the Polish single digit Salute. All Class that Kyle ! Seemed that his Girl friend was less than impressed with his personna will walking down pit lane , she game his arm a jerk and gave him a glare and few words of wisdoom lol !

I like Kyle and even if Bass was ok with it I thought it was a total disrespect towards the trophy.  You want to showcase and give your team part of the trophy, fine but wait to do it after the camera is off.

Makes you wonder what she's after...It surely isn't his looks or his great personality, maybe Kyle has some great attributes that we don't know about or it's just the money!

Well, if Kyle wants to put on a show like the WWF, perhaps someone should bust a chair over that F___ing morons head!

And Kyle is punk, he wasnt even alive when all the good rock and roll was made.

As for his 'other attributes' we dont know about........perhaps the reason his ego is so big is because his    Shocked    is so smalll.!

Actually, I missed the whole thing!   As soon as he crossed the finish line, I immediately turned the channel, which is what I always do when he wins.  I refuse to even look or listen to him in victory lane.

The one and only thing, which will surely be brought up, and I still say he did it just as a pr stunt to try and bolster his image, was to give Sam Ard 100k towards his medical bills or something.

He gave the money awhile ago but not in person, and only actually met the Ard family a couple of weeks ago.

You also missed one of the best burnouts I've ever seen too, skool. He literally set the track on fire. (find them both on youtube).

I was actually pretty entertained by it. Better than putting it in a glass case, never to be touched again.

If I won as many trophies as he has..I'd be damn tempted to do the very same thing. Live out a dream.

Jr. Nation wants a guitar, but all they hear is a slow Violin.

A very slow Violin........... as slow as him.......

I don' t like Kyle Busch...

But what I hate worse is Jr. Nation's constant crying about evrything Kyle does.....
