for over half the Race Mark the Kid Martin Wins another One ! I could not believe how fresh he looked after the Race.

Well, That silly old man has as many wins this year as (dare I say it) Kyle Busch. And he's even higher in the points (than the next coming of Dale Earnhardt..supposedly) Kyle Busch. If the chase started this weekend at Sonoma Mark Martin would be first place in points leading the chase.
I hope that Mark and Alan keep up the great work. I was glad to hear Mark won.
I also found it funny that at Kentucky Kyle Busch during an interview stated that Joey Logano "pulled a Mark Martin on us and saved his stuff for the end so we didn't change the car and then wasn't the fastest car on the last segment. "
I hate to say it but that's twice this week Kyle Busch has been sincere and almost likable.

Hey Thanks Guys! It's nice seeing there are other Forum Members who also appreciate the Silly Old Man for what I believe he is , a Great Racer and an even Greater Individual ! A few Yrs back when Mark began his then scaling down , I was really in a dilemma , who to Root for ? So I then took Shockey's advise and more or less began rooting for Kenseth and Jeff Burton (no single or one favorite) . It just wasn't the same but with the shocking Hendrik announcement I was both floored and delighted , one more year maybe two to cheer on my all time favorite Mark Martin lol !!

There are many more wins coming this year for the old man!!! Great to see Mark win. He is going to have a solid top ten this weekend and solidify his place in the chase.

of coarse my #1 choice to win the Championship is Smoke but my 2nd choice would be MM just so he could tell jackass Roush it took a Chevy to get him a championship
